A TOTAL of 937 tests for the coronavirus were conducted in the past 24 hours in Slovenia confirming 37 new cases, eight more than the previous day, Slovenia's government said on Friday.
This is the largest number of new cases recorded in one day since April 4, when 43 new cases were reported.
Not one death was recorded in the last 24 hours while the death toll since the outbreak of the disease stands at 129. A total of 2,369 people have been infected.
Currently 18 COVID-19 patients are undergoing hospital treatment, and three of them are in intensive care. There are 213 active cases of the disease, Slovenia's health ministry has said.
Four patients were released from hospitals in the past 24 hours.
