THE number of new COVID-19 infections in Serbia in the past 24 hours has fallen, with 100 positive cases being identified after 7,352 tests were conducted, the Tanjug news agency reported on Monday, adding that that was the lowest number recorded in one day since June 22.
Another three people have died and 68 patients are on ventilators.
To date a total of 811,920 people have been tested for the coronavirus, with 29,782 having tested positive. Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia, 677 people have died, which is a mortality rate of 2.27%.
A total of 144 elderly people and 83 staff in aged care facilities have been infected, Serbia's Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Welfare has said.
