"There have been two newly infected people in the last 24 hours, with a total of 2254 infected. Both cases are from the city of Zagreb. A total of 70,254 people have been tested so far, with 144 having been tested in the last 24 hours.
The total number of recovered individuals is 2140, with six newly recovered in the last 24 hours. Seven more people are being treated in hospitals. No patients are currently on respirators. There have not been any new deaths.
Today, the Civil Protection Task Force of the Republic of Croatia adopted three decisions:
- the Decision amending the Decision on the temporary ban on the crossing of the borders of the Republic of Croatia
- the Decision on the organization of public transport during the COVID-19 epidemic
- the Decision amending the Decision on working hours and the organization of retail work during the COVID-19 epidemic
These decisions extend the existing rules on the crossing of the borders of the Republic of Croatia until 30 June 2020, enable the establishment of the international railway and road public transport in compliance with the recommendations and instructions of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, and abolish the work ban on Sundays and national holidays for retail stores, which means that it is possible to establish the same working hours as before the COVID-19 epidemic was declared, but still with the mandatory application of anti-epidemic measures and in compliance with all recommendations and instructions of the Croatian Institute of Public Health," the Task Force stated.
