THE NUMBER of fiscal receipts has gone down by 21% last week compared with the same week last year in all activities covered by the fiscalisation system, with a 15% decrease in value, according to the newest data by the Tax Administration.
In the period from 3 to 9 August this year, a total of 45.97 million receipts were issued, which is 21% fewer compared with the same week last year. The total value of fiscal receipts amounted to HRK 4.36 billion last week, which is about 15% less on the year.
The number of receipts in wholesale and retail trade fell by 18%, to 25.6 million, and their value by 7%, to HRK 2.7 billion. At the same time, 26% fewer receipts were issued in hospitality and tourism, or a total of 9.16 million, and their value decreased by 26%, to HRK 984.7 million.
Compared with the week before, from 27 July to 2 August 2020, the number of fiscal receipts in all activities fell by 2% last week, while their value remained approximately the same.
Since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis in Croatia, in the period from 24 February to 9 August, the number of fiscal receipts dropped by 28% on the year and their value by 19%.
In that period, 824.7 million receipts were issued with a value of HRK 76.5 billion.
