EUROWINGS restarted traffic to Croatia in May, and since then, they have been increasing the number of weekly flights and routes to Croatian airports every month, writes the Croatian Aviation portal.
This month, Eurowings offers 23 flights a week to Croatia, and starting August, there will be nine additional flights, for a total of 32 flights.
Most routes will be arriving from 6 German destinations to the Split Airport:
- the Hamburg - Split route: instead of the previous two, there will be three flights a week (on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays),
- the Stuttgart - Split route: instead of the previous two, there will be four flights a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays),
- the Düsseldorf - Split route: instead of the previous three, there will be five flights a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and twice a day on Saturdays),
- the Cologne - Split route: instead of the previous five, there will be four flights a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays),
- the Hanover - Split route will be restarted with one flight a week, every Saturday, starting August 1,
- the Berlin - Split route will be restarted with one flight a week, every Saturday, starting August 1.
As for the Zagreb Airport, it will still be connected to two destinations, Cologne and Stuttgart, but the number of weekly flights on both routes will increase:
- the Cologne - Zagreb route: instead of the previous three, there will be four flights a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays),
- the Stuttgart - Zagreb route: instead of the previous two, there will be four flights a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays).
- routes Düsseldorf - Pula, Hamburg - Rijeka, and Cologne - Zadar will continue with one flight a week.
Two already existing routes to Rijeka and Zadar will have more flights than in July:
- the Düsseldorf - Rijeka route: instead of the current one, there will be two flights a week (on Saturdays and Sundays),
- the Stuttgart - Zadar route: instead of the previous two, there will be three flights a week (on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays).
The route to Osijek will be restarted, and it will be the only regular international route from this airport. The A319 aircraft will fly the Stuttgart - Osijek route with one flight a week, every Sunday, starting August 2.
Eurowings did not announce any flights to Dubrovnik, which makes it the only airport in Croatia where this company has not yet established regular traffic.
